Golf on the Green is Paul’s indoor facility 

A teacher for more than 25 years, Paul is a Lead Coach for the Golf Channel Academy at Bull’s Bridge. He has twice been recognized as one of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers” in the state of Connecticut, most recently placing third on the list for 2017-’18, and in 2016 was named the Connecticut PGA Section Teacher of the Year.

Before joining Bull’s Bridge, Paul served as an Assistant Golf Professional at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, N.J., and the famed Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa., host to nine U.S. Open Championships (more than any other course). He was also the Head Professional at The Park Country Club in Williamsville, N.Y.

Paul received his Class A Certification from the PGA of America in 1996, and in 2013 was named the Horton Smith Award winner by the Connecticut PGA Section in special recognition for his outstanding contributions to Golf Professional education. Smith was a two-time Masters champion and also the former president of the PGA of America.

A SAM PuttLab Certified Instructor and TPI Level I Certified Professional, Paul’s special areas of interest include year-long coaching plans and long-term athletic development.

Paul Ramee, Jr. has been named one of the inaugural instructors of the newly formed Golf Channel Academy.

Ty Wyld, PGA


TJ is in his second year at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club, where he assists with teaching both the South Kent School and Kent School golf programs as well as numerous men’s and women’s golf schools alongside Paul Ramee Jr. 

TJ’s passion for coaching began while he was on an internship at North Shore Country Club in Glenview, Ill. There, he coached all of the Junior Golf Camps over the course of the season. After becoming a member of the PGA of America in 2014, TJ went on to direct the Player Development program at Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest, Ill., where he led a junior program consisting of 80 aspiring young golfers varying from age 3 to 18.
